About

Tyler A. Bartholome is a native of Lake Jackson, Texas, and completed his B.S. in Chemical Engineering at Texas A&M University in 2018. In 2021, he completed his Ph.D. in the research group of Dr. Caleb D. Martin at Baylor University. His graduate research was focused on the synthesis and reactivity of fused polycyclic boron heterocycles. From 2021 to 2022, he was a postdoctoral research associate in the research group of Dr. Haibo Ge at Texas Tech University, where his research was primarily focused on palladium-catalyzed C-H activation and cross-coupling reactions. His research in the Gilliard group focuses on the synthesis of novel complexes containing unsaturated boron heterocycles.
