About
Marissa D. Villarde hails from the great state of Texas, where she completed her B.S. in Chemistry at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). Her undergraduate research entailed the investigation of earth-abundant, pincer-based transition metal complexes for applications in catalysis. During this time, she made contributions to ongoing projects by the Center for Quantum Electrodynamics for Selective Transformations (QuEST). She also served as president to UTSA’s ACS student chapter.
