About

Jinhyo was born in Busan and raised in Seoul, Korea. She received her PhD in Chemistry in 2022 at the Korea University under the supervision of Prof. Dong Hoon Choi. During her PhD, she investigated thermally activated delayed fluorescence materials for OLEDs. Following her PhD, she continued her research as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Purdue University, working with Prof. Jianguo Mei. During her time at Purdue, she expanded her research to n-doping mechanistic study. In 2024, Jinhyo joined the Gilliard group at MIT as a National Research Foundation of Korea Postdoctoral Fellow, where she is currently studying luminescent materials.
