Our manuscript introducing ion-pair assembly in CDC-borenium ions as a method to unlock red to near-infrared luminescence is now published in @NatureChemistry (https://www.nature.com/articles/s41557-025-01941-6)! Chunlin shows that counteranion modulation directs solid-state emission! #maingroup
